As a mom of three, I’m always looking for free and affordable things to do with my kids. This is my way of keeping it all organized and being able to share with other parents who are also struggling to find these events. So, if you’re a parent in the Buffalo, NY area, looking for free and affordable things to do with kids…you’ve come to the right place!
I’ll update this page as I find fun things to do and I hope to see you at some of these events!
If you have a free or affordable event that you’d like to submit, please email me at candie@rockcandiedesigns.com.

Stop by our studio for a "bite-sized" creative break! Inspired by our Dine In exhibition, we’re cooking up some miniature masterpieces. In this self-guided session, you’ll use colorful polymer clay to sculpt your favorite foods into functional art.
Whether you’re craving a tiny taco or a neon doughnut, you can turn your creations into gourmet fridge magnets or custom croc charms!
No experience is necessary, and all materials are provided. Just drop in, get your hands moving, and leave with a tiny treat that’s ready to bake and wear!
Walk the bunny trail at Walton Woods Park! Collect eggs at stations along the trail, turn them in at the welcome tent for a goodie bag. Keep an eye out for some golden eggs that our bunny drops along the trail. All are welcome, event is free of charge and registration is not required.
